Going goth is all the rage now, with movies like
Twilight and drama series like
True Blood, everyone--even those who may have never quite been into the goth look--is now kinda interested.
The goth makeup process isn't too difficult to apply, but it does take practice and knowing how far you want to go with it to make it look good on you. Here's how you can go from modern to dramatic, decadent, severe, piercing, and mysteriously beautiful.
Step I. Choose your foundation wisely. Foundation is the base needed to cover blemishes and to set your skin tone. Invest in quality foundation that won't dry or irritate your skin. Pick a hue that is two to three shades lighter than your natural skin complexion. Apply foundation with your hands or use a makeup brush, applying the foundation evenly to all parts of the face. Blend foundation into the neckline, leaving no visible streaks.
